What helps us fix it faster
In the app, open Account → Diagnostics and tap to copy. That puts your build number, how old your map data is and which saved coverts still match it on the clipboard — nothing is sent anywhere until you paste it into an email yourself. Include that, plus:
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- Roughly where you were — a county is plenty, we do not need your spot.
- A screenshot, if it is something you can see.
Found a boundary that is wrong?
Tell us — [email protected], with roughly where and what you found on the ground. We cannot correct an agency's own dataset, but we can flag it, re-pull the source, and in some cases suppress a bad polygon.
It does not change the rule, which is in the app before you ever see a map and in §3 of the Terms: Apex is not a legal record of ownership, and what is posted on the ground controls over anything Apex draws.
Common things
- The map has no scored coverts. Coverts are part of Apex Pro, and they are shown for the states Apex covers. If you are signed in to a Pro account and still see none, send us the diagnostics.
- Crew is empty or will not load. Crew needs an account and a connection. Everything else in Apex works without either.
- I got a new phone. If backup was on, sign in and tap Restore. If it was off, your records live only on the old phone — export a backup file from the Journal there and AirDrop it across.
- Deleting your account. Account → Delete my account. It removes the account, crew membership and any backup; what is on your phone stays on your phone.
